Stealth Gong Li's Artist Divorce

Chinese movie star Gong Li rumored to have been divorced. Confirmation on the matter delivered by the husband and Gong Li, Ooi Hoe Seong, a Singapore national entrepreneurs.

"Yes, Gong Li and I have been divorced. We actually already divorced three years ago, "said Ooi Hoe Seong to the media as quoted by Channel NewsAsia China.

According to Ooi they had "never quarreled" over 13 years of their marriage, but finally decided to split up in 2009 by reason of the nature of their work.

"She's an actress who frequently travel overseas for filming. I am a businessman who often traveled abroad for business purposes. In recent years, we lived apart more than together, "said Ooi Hoe Seong.

"More friendly than romantic love between us," said Ooi, who stressed that they remained on good terms, but no longer as husband and wife.

"It's a peaceful separation without conflict. We're still good friends and keep in touch at Christmas and Chinese New Year, "said Ooi.

Ooi explained about the controversial decision Gong Li becomes a citizen of Singapore in 2008.
